Ropes
Course:
A major part of Beaver Cross is our Ropes Course. Newly constructed
and specifically designed for our use, the Ropes Course not
only adds a unique element of fun
to any program, it also serves a valuable purpose as a tool for creating community,
instilling confidence, and teaching lessons for faith and life.
The course is also available for groups who are looking for
a fun and memorable event that can also improve communication
and problem solving skills within your team or organization.
Groups who can benefit from a day at the Ropes Course include
business teams, youth groups, scouting programs, school groups,
sports
teams, birthday parties, weddings, or just about any
other group. For booking information please call our Ropes
Facilitator, Matthew Fuda, at 518 692-9550.
The
Ropes Course consists of two main areas; the Low Ropes Course
and the High Ropes Course.
The Low Ropes course is a set of elements
created to encourage groups to problem-solve as a team, build
communication skills, teach active listening and leading, and
of course have fun. Some of the actities and elements a camper
